How to Mince Garlic

Mincing garlic is one of the most common cooking techniques. Properly minced garlic spreads flavor evenly throughout a dish.

Simple method to mince garlic

1.    Separate one clove from the garlic bulb.

2.    Place the clove on a cutting board.

3.    Press it gently with the flat side of a knife to loosen the skin.

4.    Remove the peel.

5.    Finely chop the clove using a rocking motion with your knife.

The finer the garlic is minced, the stronger the garlic flavor will be in your dish.
